Workplace Bullying: How to tackle it?

Employees are the main players of any workplace. They are the prime movers of the institution. Unfortunately, there are always problems that arise among employees. Inequality among co-workers and often cause petty quarrels happen between employees and sometimes bullying can happen especially to employees who are quite different from the rest. Bullying in the workplace can have a negative effect on productivity. It is important to know how to tackle it.

Awareness of the bullying
The first step of tackling workplace bullying is recognizing the activity. This will help the bullying get noticed especially among those from the higher authorities. The key here is knowing that bullying is about controlling and it does not involve one’s work performance. In addition, knowing this would also entail the victim to do something about it.

Log the activity
For everyone who experience workplace bullying, it is very important to take note of it. It can be a diary or a log of the activities including the incident as well as the date that it occurred. By doing this, a written evidence is at your disposal and it can be used if ever such matters of bullying would be investigated and legal matters would be included. Take note that most bullies would try to contradict such accusations. It is better to be prepared.

If you do not want to rack up suspicious bills on your child’s credit card account, make sure that you coach them about how to responsibly use their cards.

*Avoid maxing out your card. Some teens can be so careless with regards to purchasing through their credit cards that they are unable to track their overall spending. Maxing out your credit card is another major no-no. Hence, you need to teach your child about how to properly monitor their expenses and prevent this from happening.
